Who We Are
Fermented is the baby of Jonty and Joanna, a pair of content writers and social media managers from Auckland. We became friends while studying English at The University of Auckland, and went on to work as copywriters at various digital marketing companies, occasionally meeting up for a sneaky VB and a dart.
By day we researched, wrote, edited and outreached under fluorescent lights, and by night we freelanced for our own clients… and it wasn’t long before we realized we could join forces to provide small businesses with a better content strategy solution.
I knew what message I wanted to convey through my website, but I didn’t know how to lay it all out. My thoughts were all over the place and I couldn’t put them into one impactful piece of writing. That’s when I asked for help from Joanna, and she did a wonderful job in putting all the different pieces of my thoughts in solid, neat, yet impactful phrases. Thanks to Jo, my prospective clients are now becoming more aware of my company’s existence and our story.
